'The Stray Birds' from Pennsylvania
One of the first on this year's Celtic Connections programme to sell out completely and the tour they subsequently completed was a run of sold-out shows - England/Wales/Ireland. They have just blown everyone away at the big Folk Alliance International event in Kansas City and when Bob Harris played them again on his BBC Radio 2 show at the weekend, he predicted they were heading for "superstardom". All that to explain that they have been booked as one of the main headline acts at this year's Tonder Festival in Denmark, and we will bring them to Scotland immediately thereafter as they particularly want to see the counrty and could not tour here in January.Date: 04/09/14
