Alasdair Fraser of Scotland and California celebrates 30 years of visiting Sleat each summer to lead his internationally famous Sabhal Mòr Ostaig Fiddle Summer Schools. He wants tonight’s concert to be an entertaining and fun extravaganza event for the course participants as well as the public. Last year he jammed in well over 100 fiddlers, 30 cellists and some soloists to entertain a full house of excited listeners. With a wealth of talented tutors, including one of the most sought-after traditional cellist Natalie Haas, alongside Seylan Baxter, Ciarán Ó Maonaigh, Caitlín Nic Gabhann, Louise Douglas, Sarah Naylor and other visiting musicians, who knows what might happen this year!
