The North Shore Celtic Ensemble
Hailing from Vancouver, Canada the North Shore Celtic Ensemble is a one-off, experimental youth ensemble. With a unique style and repertoire drawing on- Celtic, jazz, classical, folk, French Canadian and more- making for a spirited no-boundaries experience for both player and audience. Led by Canadian artists Claude Giguère and Jay Knutson, over the past 30 years they’ve worked to craft NSCE into an ensemble which both nurtures young celtic and folk talent whilst encouraging experimental and innovative ways of approaching the genre.
