Alastair Fraser's Mammoth Fiddle Night
Alasdair Fraser of Scotland and California, will being staging his Mammoth Fiddle event as part of the Skye Festival at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig. The event is part of the annual Fiddle Summer School and Alasdair wants the concert to be an entertaining and fun extravaganza event for the course participants as well as the public. Last year he jammed in well over 100 fiddlers, 30 cellists and some soloists to entertain a full house of excited listeners. Guests will include Mike Vass, Lauren MacColl, Louise MacKenzie on fiddle, Natalie Haas, Seylan Baxter, Patricia Strain, cellos; Innes Watson, guitar, fiddle; Mairi Britton, dance; and Christine Primrose, song.
