Maighread Stewart and Ingrid Henderson
Renowned Gaelic singer, Margaret Stewart from the Isle of Lewis, and Lochaber based clarsach virtuoso, Ingrid Henderson, are world class performers in their individual fields and together they produce a sound which is abounding in substance and class. Both have well over twenty years experience in performing, recording and teaching Gaelic song and Highland music, both at home and abroad, and their passion for their craft shines through in every performance. Both are tutors at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, with the Music Department and the Summer Schools. We will open the evening with a set of tunes from some young local talent.Date: 07/08/18
