Scottish Chamber Orchestra String Ensemble
The ensemble is joined by young Finnish virtuoso Pekka Kuusisto, one of the Orchestra’s most popular guest soloists who directs the SCO Strings for the first time in these concerts. He leads the 25-strong ensemble in a popular programme, including Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Grieg’s Holberg Suite and a work by his fellow Finn, Aulis Sallinen.Date: 22/09/05
