He brings a scholar\u2019s knowledge of the cowboy\u2019s Celtic, Spanish and Afro-American roots as well as the personal experience gained by working as a cowboy on a ranch in Wyoming, along with an exquisite touch as a singer, guitarist, fiddler and mandolinist.\n\n\n\nMargaret Bennett, Gaelic singer from Skye, is  widely regarded as Scotland's foremost folklorist. A former lecturer at the University of Edinburgh School of Scottish Studies, she teaches part-time at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, who \"wears her scholarship lightly\".
