Accordions and Buttonbox - Fergie at al
Fergie Macdonald, Robert Nairn and Addie Harper Jr are running this week's accordion and button box Summer School and present a concert of lively cèilidh music and good craic with various other guests. As the Cèilidh King, button-box player Fergie MacDonald took the authentic, raw and right cèilidh dance band style to village halls across the length and breadth of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Fergie and his band were stars. Wherever cèilidh music is being played, Fergie’s masterful musicianship and infectious style remain the benchmark, and Fergie will forever be known as the man who gave cèilidh music to the world.
