ELIZA ROSS’ RAASAY Workshops and performance A symposium and recital celebrating the music of Elizabeth Ross’s Original Highland Airs (1812). Sabhal Mor Ostaig and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland staff, students and guests recreate the early 19th century drawing room of Raasay House through workshops and performances of music and song from Ross’ collection, in association with the Musica Scotica Trust – an event not to be missed! GAELIC Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the Gaelic college on Skye and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland come together for two days of academic collaboration and concerts. This evening’s event includes pipers Decker Forrest from SMO and Josh Dickson from the RCS, playing on Highland pipes and Border pipes.
