Charlie McKerron
Internationally regarded as one of Scotland's finest fiddle players, Charlie McKerron leads his summer fiddle camp this week, so is a regular visitor to Fèis an Eilein, always packing our venue. Charlie is a key member of the highly successful Capercaillie and has collaborated with many other musicians, and played with other noted bands such as SessionA9. Charlie was brought up with the Northeast fiddle tradition learning from his father and great uncle but has immersed himself in the Gaelic tradition with Capercaillie. In doing so, he has helped to bring this music to high acclaim on the international stage. Marc Clement, singer and guitarist, has been a professional musician for nearly 30 years, living in his home town of Inverness. Marc played guitar with Bruce McGregor for many years which led to many line-ups including Duncan Chisholm. Iain Macfarlane and Gabe McVarish. Marc was an original member of Blazin' Fiddles and plays for Session A9.Date: 14/08/18
